The Chambers – Cooks With The Gas Turned Off

This week I’m blogging. I got side-tracked with life!

We’re getting back to vintage appliances and what better way to start than with The Chambers Stove. Yes, it’s the same stove as Rachel Ray uses on 30 Minute Meals.

The Chambers – invented by John Chambers in 1909, the range “that cooks with the gas turned off”, has a Therowell and a “sizzling platter”, thumb latch safety latch handles and weighs in at around 400 lbs.

To end January, we’ll look at all of these cool features and more. I’ve rounded up artists, restorers and wonderful people who use these stoves every day.

Let’s start this Monday off with a picture from Kristen Ellis’s blog Llena de moras of her yellow Chambers.

We love The Chambers and love Kristen’s darling kitchen!
